Okay, another reason to smile? The end of finals :) ! :) Yes, yes, yes, I've already gone through it :) But for those of you who are still in it (and, please, don't think of me in this way...
...) I'd like to say that probably the majority of us have the same symptoms every six months ;) Our mood changes more or less like this:
We probably prepare to every finals in this way...
...many of us have this kind of thinking....
... and in the end we all look like this...
... there are some simple and magnificent way to handle with this every semester's hell :)
And if you still don't see the light in the end of the tunnel and you're on the verge of crack up, you can listen to this little girl who knows well what she's saying...:)
In my last entry I gave you some ways of creating opportunities to laugh and one of them, maybe the simplest and the most immediate, was your pet :)
Seriously, look at him and tell me that you don’t feel happier now :) If you don’t,
it probably means that it has eaten your shoe or has peed on your favorite carpet.
But even then, it’s almost impossible not to laugh, because after the anger it always
comes the mirth and some kind of pity, when you tries to stay serious and then
you see the guilty snout of your dog...
I have got a 6 years old Border Terrier named Tajga which is one of the greatest joys in my life :) In this small body there is a lot of energy that can uplift me even on the most irritating and depressing day. I may come back home after a whole day out, but as I see that wagging tail, I forget about all the problems. In those four paws there is also a great potential; that's why my sister trains with her some dog sports like agility or dogfrisbee. Here you've got a short video that recapitulates their hard work:
To see more you can follow the link of my sister's blog: http://borderaleterrier.blogspot.com . Yes, having a pet at home is a wonderful thing. Obviously, you don't have to "spend" large sum of money to get an adorable pet; you can adopt it. There are so many abandoned dogs in dog kennels that are looking for its new owners. Last year, my boyfriend adopted a puppy from the "Azorek" dog kennel and from that day on Nala brings us so much joy every day :) And when we look at her, our smiles are even wider, because we are conscious that, in some way, we saved her life :)
Laughter is suposedly the best medicine ever. You've probably heard it already. But do you know that it's really proved that laughter influence human's physical, mental and social condition?
Laughter relaxes your whole body, boosts the immune system, triggers the release of endorphins and protects your heart. It also helps you relax and recharge, and shifts your perspective of seeing the world, allowing you to see situations in a different, more realistic, light; humorous perspective creates
psychological distance, which can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed. Moreover, is there anything better than an a contagious giggle that you absolutely can’t control? Yeees, I know you know that feeling :) And if you don't, please, take a look at this video...
Okay, now I'll give you few minutes to calm down ;)

As the scientists confirm, laughing with others is even more powerful that laughing alone and, additionally, it consolidates our relationships by triggering positive feelings and fostering emotional connection. But even alone, don't forget to find reasons to laugh in your everyday life. If you don't know how to do it, here you've got some examples:
(: read funny pages, comics and books
(: watch a funny movie or TV show
(: go to a comedy club
(: meet with your best friends
(: share a good joke or a funny story
(: go to a “laughter yoga” class
(: do something silly
(: play with children
(: look at your pet
(: watch other people laughing
(: listen and dance to your favorite song
But remember, you don't have to cure yourself with laughter from the start, which is like Panadol EXTRA; you can start with a simple s m i l e - the milder version of Panadol :) Get up, make you some coffe, pour it into your favorite mug and...start your laughing treatment :)
